The Federal Quality Control (Roskachestvo) experts have evaluated car-sharing apps for iOS and Android. Before conducting the research, experts have analyzed 2,243 app reviews. The best ones turned out to be Yandex.Drive, Delimobil, and BelkaCar on both platforms.
During the study, specialists used the applications as ordinary users, searched for and booked cars, travelled to different cities of the country, tested the operation of various functions of the applications. As a result, usability, information performance, functionality, and reliability of the applications were tested.
It is noted that most often, users complained about the problem with the completion of the car rental, the lack of notifications, and the need for authorization by selfie. The positive reviews were about the user-friendly interface, good performance, and the ability to find cars of a specific model.
The most popular feature among users was the notification of unfinished lease which was found only in the services Delimobil, Yandex.Drive, and Uramobil. The best applications in terms of functionality were Yandex.Drive, Delimobil, and BelkaCar on both platforms.
