The international folk song festival “Dobrovision 2020” in St. Petersburg, gathered more than 700 participants from 40 regions of Russia. A large concert programme was held on October 10 and 11, TASS reports.
Due to the pandemic, foreign participation in Dobrovision is limited this year, but many national groups performed at the festival. For example, a folk amateur Georgian dance ensemble, an Estonian folklore group, or an Armenian dance ensemble. It is noted that the festival is being held for the first time in a remote format. The concert halls of the festival were attended only by its participants and guests of honour, which this year were St. Petersburg doctors. The festival was broadcast on the event’s official YouTube-Channel.
