The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, has approved the procedure for subsidies for the export of cinema and IT goods, the Cabinet’s press service reported. Up to 70 per cent of state support funds will be directed to projects in the field of cinema and animation and up to 30 per cent to IT products.
It is noted that the subsidies will help partially compensate the costs of purchasing certificates, translating and dubbing films, renting recording studios, salaries for actors, creating a design for IT services, and advertising. To receive subsidies, it is necessary to pass the selection, which will be held at least once a year. It is specified that no more than 30 per cent of the total volume of state support is allowed to be directed for one project.
