Russian IT technologies presented at the IT forum in Ugra (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug) must be studied for possible implementation in the higher education system of Tajikistan, as stated by the republic’s general consul in Yekaterinburg Zafar Sayidzoda, TASS reports.
The XII International IT Forum with the participation of the BRICS and SCO countries is being held in a mixed format from June 15 to 18 in Khanty-Mansiysk. At the IT forum in Ugra, in particular, at the conference of IT heads of educational institutions of higher education subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, they discussed the work with the services of the Digital University.
As the director of the Science and Education Digital Development Institute of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Yaroslav Demchenko, explained, the concept of the Digital University will help reduce the time spent on routine work by converting it to a digital format, which will free students and teachers to communicate with each other, free up their time to receive knowledge or get new ideas.
Currently, the “Digital University” is a set of services for some areas of university activities, in particular, education, science, campus infrastructure management, and the financial sector. The forum also presented a project of the company IPR MEDIA, a library in the format of a digital university; a VR workshop that allows those wishing to get acquainted with the history of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug; the “Knowledge Cloud” which is a service for planning and conducting lessons using electronic educational resources and much more.
