Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva won the women’s single skating at the second stage of the Grand Prix series “Skate Canada” which takes place in Vancouver with two world records. This time only Russians took the entire podium: Elizaveta Tuktamysheva (232.88) became the second and Alyona Kostornaya (214.54) took the third place.

For the free programme, 15-year-old Valieva received 180.89 points, and in total, she scored 265.08. Thus, she broke her own records (174.31 and 249.24) set on October 10 at the ‘Finlandia Trophy’ Challenger Series tournament. At the first stage of the Grand Prix, ‘Skate America’ in Las Vegas, the Russian Alexandra Trusova won the singles competition and Daria Usacheva became the second.
As specified, Valieva is 15 years old and is already a world champion among juniors. The current season became her first one at the adult level, TASS reports. The figure skater trains in the group of Eteri Tutberidze.
The next stage of the competition will be held from November 5 to 7 in Turin, Italy.
