The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Centre of Russia, Roman Vilfand, told in which subjects of the Russian Federation abnormal warming is expected soon, TASS reports.
According to the expert, in the regions of the Central Federal District, temperatures around zero are expected by the middle of next week, as well as a thaw is predicted by December 17. It is specified that in the Volga region, the thermometer will rise to abnormally high values for mid-December. By the middle of the week, the temperature in the regions of the Middle Volga will exceed the climatic norm by two to four degrees. On the Lower Volga, temperatures are expected within normal limits. However, it will also become much warmer there due to the previous significant cooling.
