The Russian melodrama “Ice-2” (2020) directed by Zhora Kryzhovnikov is released in China today, on January 13, as reported by the press service of Art Pictures Studio.

It is specified that the distributor of the project was Beijing HY Media Co., LTD, whose representatives are confident that the Chinese release of the film will help popularize Russian culture and support the spirit of the XXIV Winter Olympic Games. The film is being released with the support of the Russian embassy in China.
Earlier, the director and producer, Fedor Bondarchuk, reported that the project could appear on Chinese screens on February 14, 2022, as in Russia the melodrama was released exactly on this day in 2020. The product was created by the film companies “Hydrogen”, Art Pictures Studio, and National Media Group (NMG).
The second part of the film “Ice” tells viewers about how the life of figure skater Nadia and hockey player Sasha turned out after their wedding. The main roles in the film were performed by Alexander Petrov and Aglaya Tarasova.
