On the eve of the New Year, the dream of the schoolboys from the Rostov region, Arseny and Afanasy Chumakovs, came true at the Kadamovsky training ground in Rostov. The boys were able to ride T-72B3 tanks.
The commanders of the tanks, Sergeants Anton and Aleksei Vorobyovs, helped to realize this dream of children through the action “Christmas Wish Tree”, held on the initiative of the commander of the Southern Military District.
It is noted that the tank commanders are also twins. They held driving lessons and competitions with Arseny and Afanasiy. The children were equipped in advance: they were given headsets, binoculars, and uniforms.
On that day, the brothers learned a lot of interesting things about the tankers’ life. For example, schoolchildren were told about the possibilities of “flying” and “floating” tanks and many other interesting things.
