The members of the Russian national beach soccer team defeated the Japanese at the 2021 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, Lenta reports. The wards of the coach, Mikhail Likhachev, became the best team in the world for the third time in history and in the 2021 final match with a score of 5:2.
It is specified that Fedor Zemskov, Andrey Novikov, and Artur Paporotny scored goals for the winners’ side. Also, the double was made by Yuri Krasheninnikov. In addition, it is reminded that Russia met with Japan in the group stage of the current World Cup, when their meeting ended with a score of 7:1 in favour of Russians.
