The Russian national team players beat Slovenia in the home match of the 2022 World Cup qualifier, the press service of the national team reports on its Twitter-Page.
It is noted that the game took place at the Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi. The match ended with a score of 2:1 in favour of the Russian footballers. Both goals against Slovenian athletes were scored by Artem Dzyuba, on the 26th and 35th minutes of the game. For the Slovenian national team, the goal was scored by Josip Ilicic on the 36th minute of the match. In total, the Russian national team got two victories in two games of the qualifying round. The next match is scheduled for March 30, 2021, with the Slovakian team.
