Russian athletes, members of the Russian national team (ROC team), Yulia Karimova and Sergei Kamensky, won bronze medals in the mixed teams competition in air rifle shooting from 10 metres at the XXXII Summer Olympics in Tokyo, RIA Novosti reports.
It is noted that this award was the 16th for Russia at the Tokyo Games. In total, the national team has five gold, seven silver, and four bronze medals. Sergei Kamensky, 33 years old, is a Russian sports shooter, silver medalist at the 2016 Summer Olympics in three-position rifle shooting, and a two-time world champion. Yulia Karimova, 27 years old, is a Russian rifle athlete, 2018 world champion, 2019 European Games champion, and the champion of Russia.
It is mentioned that earlier, the Russian athletes, Vitalina Batsarashkina and Artem Chernousov, took silver in the mixed teams competition in air pistol shooting from ten meters.
