The Russian men’s team defeated the Swedish team with a score of 7:1 in the final match of the world hockey championship among players under 21 years old. The tournament was held in Arkhangelsk.

As part of the Russian team, goals were scored by Oleg Tarnarutsky (8th and 47th minutes), Artem Repyakh (13), Ilya Nasekin (21, 84 – from the penalty spot), Alexey Torgonsky (25, 90). The goal by Sweden team was scored by Pontus Nordstrom (88).
The third place was taken by the national team of Finland. The fourth participant in the tournament was the team of Kazakhstan, reports NEWS.RU.
