In the Novosibirsk Region, the Russian Post’s vehicle fleet has been replenished with 94 new vehicles of various modifications and carrying capacities. 16 LADA Largus station wagons will enter the post routes, almost all of which are meant for the express mail delivery, VN.ru reports.

It is specified that 9 GAZon NEXT vehicles, 20 GAZ Sobol vans, 14 Ford Transit insulated vans, 30 postal UAZ vehicles, 2 GAZ-33086 Zemlyak all-wheel-drive vehicles, and 3 GAZelle NEXT vehicles will carry heavy loads.
“Road transport is the most optimal way to deliver mail in our region and to the nearest regions. For the transportation of mail, we have developed 380 routes, with a total length of 71,000 km. The postmen are armed with 325 vehicles. Updating the fleet allows us to deliver the growing volume of mail without interruptions,” the Deputy Director of Macro Region Siberia, Sergey Anikin, said.
