The specialists of the Federal Quality Control Service (Roskachestvo) told which material is best to wear in winter and how to take care of it in the right way.
It is noted that the least suitable for winter temperature drops are shoes made from types of leather, in the production of which synthetics are used. Although, such shoes resist dirt and reagents quite well. In turn, natural leather tends to shrink, so to prevent this, special mold holders are used, for example, wooden ones, which have antibacterial properties.
According to the experts, it is best to wear one and the same pair of shoes no more than once every three days. It is also not recommended to speed-dry wet shoes, as heaters and hairdryers dry out the leather and can even reach glue. People recommended not to wash shoes with laundry soap, as it leaves streaks. If the reagent is on the shoes, it is needed to treat them with a damp cloth and use salt-removing agents.
