Russian Scientist Told How People Can See Brightest Comet in 7 Years

The brightest comet over the past 7 years can be seen in the sky from Earth for another week, RIA News reported with reference to the information provided by the engineer of the educational observatory of the Ural Federal University Vladilen Sanakoev.

C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE) is a comet that was discovered on March 27, 2020, using an infrared telescope. The Russian cosmonaut, Ivan Vagner, saw it and took a picture from the ISS. He noted that this is the brightest comet in the last 7 years. It is noted that soon the phenomenon will become poorly visible. One more week and Russians can see it from 12 am till 2 am. According to the scientist, a comet must be sought in the northern part of the sky near the horizon.
