In Russia, scientists have created a new device for the rehabilitation of patients who learn to walk after a stroke, spinal injuries and cerebral palsy.

The development is based on the influence of special streams, through which signals of the necessary strength are transmitted to the spinal cord through the skin. These streams are painless for patients.
The device is planned to combine with the suspension system, which will keep the person in the necessary position for classes. Such a kit will cost half the price of exoskeletons, which are currently rarely produced in Russia.
The system has already been tested on animals and volunteers, and is expected to appear in 2021, Izvestia reports.
