In the international competition Best Event Awards World in Milan, the main award in the nomination “Best Festival 2019” was awarded to the Russian large-scale cultural project “Russian Seasons”.
The award ceremony took place in Milan as part of the Bea World Festival. According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, it is the main international recognition of events in the event industry. The award has existed since 2006 and encourages companies that create events of various levels and focus.
Competition nominees were evaluated by such parameters as the creativity of an idea, technological innovations, flawless execution, involvement of participants in the event, atmosphere, methods and tools of influence, efficiency, the achievement of goals and objectives, compliance with the communication goal and brand values.
The Seasons is a global festival that opens up new opportunities for interethnic dialogue and shows how culture acts as the true ambassador of the world. In Italy, “Russian Seasons” was visited by six million people.
As part of the festival, more than 310 events took place there: 35 exhibitions, 37 theatrical productions, 63 concerts of symphonic music, 55 ballet performances, 31 projects on cinema, 44 tours of leading folk groups, 45 circus and art festivals. Participants of the “Russian Seasons” in Italy were 87 cultural institutions.
The project is organized by the Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Culture.
