Skaters from Russia won three medals of various denominations at the Salt Lake City World Championship, RIA News reports.
World record holder Pavel Kulizhnikov became the winner of the 500-meter race, despite the injury of his shoulder. Among women at a distance of 500 meters, Angelina Golikova and Olga Fatkulina won silver and bronze medals, respectively. At the same time, Golikova lost to the winner of the race, Japanese Nao Kodaira, only 0.05 seconds.
