The Russian men’s national ski team took second place in the 4×10 km relay at the World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany, TASS reports. The Russian team included Alexey Chervotkin, Ivan Yakimushkin, Artem Maltsev, and Alexander Bolshunov. The Norwegians became the winners of the race, the French team took third place.

It is noted that at the 2019 World Championship held in the Austrian Seefeld the Russians also took second place (the team included Andrey Larkov, Alexander Bessmertnykh, Alexander Bolshunov, and Sergey Ustyugov).
At the moment, the Russians are in fourth place (1-2-1). Due to the sanctions of the World Anti-Doping Agency, Russian skiers, ski jumpers, and combined athletes in the tournament act as a team of the Russian Ski Association under the flag of the Russian Olympic Committee.
It is specified that the World Championship will continue today, on Saturday, with a women’s race from a common start for 30 km in a classic style. The tournament will end on March 7 with a men’s 50 km marathon.
