Russian Skiers Won Bronze Medals at Winter Olympics

Russian athletes brought bronze medals to the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) team. 

The Russian Ilya Burov became the bronze medalist of the 2022 Winter Games in freestyle skiing acrobatics competitions. In the final jump, he earned 114.93 points. The gold in this discipline was won by the representative of China Qi Guangpu (129.00), the silver medalist was Ukrainian Alexander Abramenko (116.50).

The Russians Alexander Bolshunov and Alexander Terentyev became the bronze medalists of the 2022 Games in Beijing in the ski team sprint. Norway took first place, covering the distance in 19 minutes 22.99 seconds. Finland was the second with a lag of 2.46 seconds. The Russian team was 4.29 seconds behind Norway.

The Russians Yulia Stupak and Natalia Nepryaeva became the bronze medalists of the 2022 Games in Beijing in the ski team sprint. The victory was won by the German national team, who overcame the distance in 22 minutes 9.85 seconds and came 0.71 seconds ahead of the Russians and 0.17 ahead of Sweden that came second.


Thus, at the moment, the Russian national team ranks ninth (4-8-12), as well as second in the total number of awards (24). The first three places are occupied by Norway (13-7-8), Germany (10-6-4), and the USA (8-7-4).
