The Federal Tourism Agency (Rostourism), together with the platform for creating short videos (TikTok), as well as the national travel portal (Russia Travel) launched the 3-week campaign #RussiaTravel, TASS reported.
It is noted that this campaign was launched in order to support domestic tourism. Within three weeks, the users of TikTok will be able to find out detailed information about popular destinations for traveling around Russia this summer by the hashtag #RussiaTravel. The main events of the campaign will be held in 40 regions of the country. The organizers hope to inspire Russian TikTok users to explore their country and create interesting videos that will gain a lot of views. It is also specified that travel guides also have the opportunity to participate in the campaign and share useful information about a specific region and interesting places to visit.
