Russian Youth Named Top 10 Cities for Career Building

Specialists of the job search service conducted a study and found out in which cities there are more opportunities for training and building a career for young professionals. According to the results of the study, Moscow topped the rating (46 per cent of respondents).

The top 3 cities for specialists under 25 also included St. Petersburg (37 per cent) and Novosibirsk (34 per cent). Among the main advantages of these cities, people most often noted the availability of career opportunities (68 per cent), high salaries (66 per cent), a high standard of living (52 per cent), developed infrastructure (49 per cent), and good universities (48 per cent).

According to the results of the study, 28 per cent of young applicants noted the attractiveness of Krasnodar, another 27 per cent voted for Kazan, 25 per cent of respondents mentioned Yekaterinburg and Sochi. It is noted that these cities are distinguished from the top three of the rating by the opportunity to establish a good balance between work and personal life there (according to 40 per cent of the study participants).

In addition, it is specified that every tenth of young specialists believes that in other cities that are not included in the list of the best ones, it is difficult to find a beloved person, and 6 per cent noticed a lack of recreational resources there. In turn, 3 per cent of the surveyed in the “Other” option indicated that bureaucracy is more developed in other cities, which hinders career development.
