Since March 1, 2021, the Georgian authorities have allowed Russian citizens with a negative PCR test for coronavirus infection to enter the country, RBC reported.
It is noted that the test must be done no later than 72 hours before arrival in the country. On the third day of stay in Georgia, it is required to undergo re-testing. It is also specified that currently, one can get to Georgia only by air. The land border remains closed to tourists. However, Russians need to fly to Georgia via third countries because direct flights between the states have not yet been resumed.
