Russian lawyer, Alexander Zorin, said which categories of Russian citizens have the right to ask for free housing repairs, OTR reported. According to a state programme, the disabled of the 1st and 2nd groups, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, orphans, and children left without parental care can ask for a free repair.
To get free housing repair, it is necessary to submit documents to a city administration. These documents include a passport, a document confirming the availability of a preferential category, documents for a flat, and a certificate of income of family members. It is noted that the decision on the need for repairs of housing is made by an interagency commission.
