Russians Buy More Educational Goods for Children Than Toys

In April and May 2020, Russians spend up to 29 per cent more money on distance education of children depending on the category of goods, TASS reports. 

According to the results of a study conducted by Otkrytie Bank, in April the expenses of Russians on digital applications increased by 29 per cent, 23 per cent on audio-visual content, and 8 per cent on services of distance learning institutions. It is also noted that the residents of the country began to spend less on services of schools, colleges, and universities by 57 per cent,  and 29 per cent on toys.
