The All-Russian Library Day is held this year online. On the eve of the holiday, the Russian State Library (RSL) opened free online access to rare books, TASS reports.

The Russian State Children’s Library has also prepared online events for young readers, where they will learn more about the history of libraries, interesting facts from their past, and understand the rules for customer service. At a meeting of the Reading People online club, it will be possible to find out what famous writers worked in libraries, what they did there, and what contribution they made to the development of library work.
The project #MoscowWithYou prepared an online program for the All-Russian Library Day. Online excursions to historical halls and temporary exhibitions will tell about their projects and rare editions. And visitors of the portal are waiting for literary readings and theatrical sketches based on classical works. More events can be found on the TASS website.
