A single digital service containing information about individual Russian scientists and research teams, as well as technologies available in the Russian Federation, will be created in 2022, according to the country’s Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
It is noted that now in Russia such data “are in disparate services and information systems.” According to the Deputy Prime Minister, this situation prevents business and development institutions from understanding what promising technologies and developments exist in the country, as well as hides their degree of readiness for implementation.
“In order to finally see the light, we need to ensure the possibility of integrating all services into a single space,” Chernyshenko said.
He added that these should be not only the services of scientific organizations, universities, foundations, companies but also development institutions.
“To implement such services, next year we are launching the ‘Science and Innovation’ domain on the basis of a ‘Gostech’ secure unified digital cloud platform,” Chernyshenko announced.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, this will save the time of an individual researcher, reduce the bureaucratic burden on him, establish his connection with other research teams, and give him the possibility to quickly find research and development customers.
