It is noted that the manufacturer of electrical and electronic equipment “Impulse” together with the “Gonets” Satellite System company, that is a part of Roskosmos, are completing the development and testing of a prototype of a universal satellite platform designed for operational collection and transmission of data on the state of power grids and pipelines from various sensors.

It is noted that the platform is a self-contained device located in a waterproof case. It is powered by a capacitor that is charged by solar panels. The “Gonets” terminal is also integrated into the device providing it with communication anywhere in the country.

It is specified that this device is especially important for monitoring network infrastructure facilities located in areas with no or partial coverage by terrestrial communication networks.

Currently, the work is underway to issue international patents (the USA, China, and EU) to bring the product to the international market.
