Every sixth Russian planning or expecting a baby would like to save over a million rubles by the time of the birth of their first child, as evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the SuperJob job search service.
Every third respondent (34 per cent) would like to save up to 300 thousand rubles by the time a baby appears. In turn, 16 per cent of future parents dream of an amount of 300 to 500 thousand rubles, and 3 per cent dream of 500-700 thousand rubles. Every fifth Russian (21 per cent) would like to accumulate from 700 thousand to 1 million rubles and 17 per cent of the surveyed count on more than 1 million rubles savings.
Experts specified that the average amount of savings for the birth of their first child, which Russians dream of, is 700 thousand rubles. Interestingly, men more often than women named amounts over 700 thousand rubles (45 per cent and 28 per cent, respectively). In particular, men named quite often the amount of 800 thousand rubles and women mentioned 600 thousand rubles savings.
