The All-Russian Public Opinion Research Centre (VTsIOM) presented the results of a study on how Russians feel about the evacuation of the population of the DPR and LPR to Russia.

According to the survey results, most Russians support the decision to accept refugees from the DPR and the LPR due to the increased provocations on the territory of the republics (78 per cent). Of those 13 per cent of respondents who do not support the decision, more Russians aged 18-34 (31 per cent – 18-24 years, 20 per cent –25-34- years).
Three-quarters of respondents also support the decision of the President of Russia on a one-time payment to refugees from the DPR and LPR in the amount of 10 thousand rubles (75 per cent).
Besides, the majority of Russians have a positive attitude to the help of Russian volunteers from different regions of the country to refugees from the DPR and LPR (82 per cent), 12 per cent remained indifferent, and 4 per cent of respondents have a negative attitude to this.
