Only one in six Russians are annoyed by the pictures of colleagues from vacation, while 63 per cent of the surveyed are sympathetic to the colleagues’ vacation photos, according to the specialists of the SuperJob job search service.
The survey results showed that the majority of Russians are sincerely happy for their colleagues, looking at their photos from their summer vacation. Nevertheless, 10 per cent of the respondents admitted that the pictures of colleagues from the places they themselves would like to visit evoke negative emotions in them. The respondents explain their feelings by the negative influence of such images on the working mood (“I immediately want to rest, not work”). In turn, 15 per cent of respondents do not look at vacation photos of their colleagues at all because they simply do not have time for social networks.
It is clarified that most often the problems with mood change caused by the photographs of places where they themselves would like to be, have respondents with an income of more than 80 thousand rubles (13 per cent). Men are more likely than women to ignore vacation photos of their colleagues (19 per cent and 10 per cent, respectively), and women are more likely than men to admit that they feel annoyed when they see pictures from cities and countries they dreamed of visiting (11 per cent versus 9 per cent among men). However, there are more women who are not annoyed by vacation photos of colleagues in total (68 per cent and 60 per cent, respectively).
