The experts of the Rabota.ru job search service together with the specialists of the SberService conducted a joint study and found out which professions, in the opinion of Russian residents, will be the most promising in 2021. The study involved more than 3,000 respondents from all regions of the country.
According to the results of the study, 13% of Russian residents consider an IT specialist to be the most promising profession in 2021. Some survey participants gave a more specific answer (11% chose a programmer as the most in-demand on the labour market and 1% mentioned developers and system administrators).
It is stated that 8% of respondents named the profession of a doctor as the most relevant in the coming year, while medical workers and infectious disease specialists were chosen by 3% of respondents, and virologists and pharmacists by 1%.
Also, the profession of a deputy is considered promising by 4% of the respondents, while 3% voted for the president’s profession and 2% for the minister’s. In addition, Russians believe in success of such professions as courier, manager and salesperson (4% of respondents each).
