On New Year’s Eve, residents of Russia would like to wish health to their loved ones and pandemic to be over, Izvestia reports with reference to the results of a survey conducted by the Institute for Social Analysis and Forecasting of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).
According to the results of the study, more than half of respondents (54 per cent) claim that health is the most desired wish for the New Year, and 23 per cent of respondents are going to wish the coronavirus pandemic to be over. Also, 9 per cent of Russians will wish to increase their income and pay off their mortgage.
As the Director of the Scientific and Educational Centre for Social Development of the Institute of Civil Service and Management of the RANEPA, Lyubov Khrapylina, noted, the wishes of the country’s inhabitants fully reflect the real picture of the world. She said that the society, despite the obvious disadvantages of the current conditions, has learned to solve many issues.
