In the coming New Year holidays, many Russians intend to reduce their expenses on the festive table, according to the results of a survey conducted by Otkrytie Bank, TASS reports.
It is specified that 24 per cent of survey participants are going to save more money and reduce their expenses on the New Year’s table, 47 per cent of respondents said that their holiday budget will not change, and 8 per cent admitted that they intend to increase expenses on New Year’s celebrations compared to the previous year.
According to the survey, 34 per cent of Russian residents spend less than 5,000 rubles on the New Year’s table, 30 per cent spend on it from 5,000 to 10,000 rubles, and 13 per cent agree for 10,000 to 15,000 rubles. It is also noted that most of those who need to make savings live in the Southern Federal District, and the least of them live in the Northwestern District.
