The International Anti-fascist Congress will be held annually, as stated by the Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. The dicision was made after an International Anti-Fascist Congress held on August 20 at the Patriot Center of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation as part of the Army-2022 forum.
“Given the urgency of the issues raised at the congress, as well as the great interest of the general public in it, it was decided to hold such meetings annually,” Shoigu said on Friday, September 2, 2022.
As reminded, Shoigu previously stated that “in the conditions of the modern military-political situation, the consolidation of the efforts of the international community in the fight against neo-Nazism is of particular relevance.”
He also summed up the results of the Moscow Conference on International Security (MCIS), which was held on August 16, 2022.
“It gathered more than 700 delegates from 70 countries and six international organizations […] The conference showed that the West’s attempts to isolate our country turned out to be meaningless,” the Minister stressed.
