The area near the regional government building in Samara will be equipped for winter entertainment. The skating rink will be located in the centre of the square, 63.ru reports. Last year, this ice rink was one of the most popular among the city residents.
In 2019, the skating rink was operating until February 20. In almost two months, the site was visited by more than 20 thousand people. It is specified that last year, the ice was poured daily. The coating thickness was 30 centimetres. This year, the total area of the ice rink will be 2.2 thousand square metres. It can simultaneously accommodate up to 150 people. To date, the square has already been decorated with festive illumination and a New Year’s LED fountain has been turned on.
