Samara University accepts applications for a distance competition in natural sciences and nanotechnology for schoolchildren, RIA News reports.
The All-Russian Research Competition will help students of 7-10 grades to understand the basics of natural sciences and nano industry. Finalists of the contest will go for a thematic shift to the Artek Children’s Centre in Crimea, and will also receive extra points when they enter Samara University.
There are three key areas, namely engineering, humanitarian, and natural science. The participants of the competition will be able to conduct research, talk about their developments, expand their knowledge and receive competent advice from experts. The tasks will lie in the field of chemistry, biology, nanoengineering, ecology, astronomy, geography, and geology.
