Sberbank has started operating in the Crimea with its first ATMs have already been installed on the peninsula, as reported by the press service of the institution on January 18, 2023.
“Sberbank has formed a team and is starting to operate on the Crimean Peninsula. The first ATMs of the bank have already been installed [there], within a year, the network of self-service devices will work throughout the peninsula,” they said.
As noted, in 2023, the bank’s offices will gradually open in the Crimea. The work of the first of them will be launched in the largest cities already in the first half of the year. Also, all the necessary services will be available during the year.
Earlier, on December 26, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank, Aleksander Vedyakhin, said that by the end of 2023 it is planned to open a branch of the bank in China. At the same time, he said that the credit institution actively interacts with the regulator of the People’s Republic of China, where the necessary package of documents was sent.
