The food in the schools of the Rostov region turned out to be the best in Russia, according to the opinions of students. Young respondents who took part in the all-Russian poll put the Rostov region in the first place of the rating, 1rnd reports.
It is noted that the children’s opinion on nutrition was studied by activists of the Russian Schoolchildren’s Movement as part of the “Chef at School” project, organized jointly with the famous Russian chef Konstantin Ivlev. The Internet survey lasted one month, from April 4 to March 4, 2021, and covered more than 2.2 thousand students of all grades from 85 regions of the country.
Children evaluated school canteens on various indicators, from the menu to the interior design of a dining-room. In addition to the Rostov region, the top 3 best canteens in the country according to schoolchildren included the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic and the Samara region. These were followed by the Vologda and Amur regions, the Republic of Crimea, the Saratov and Kemerovo regions, St. Petersburg, and the Republic of Mordovia.
