Schoolchildren, students, and large families of Moscow will be able to visit the Victory Museum for free today, on the last Sunday of summer, the museum’s VK-Community reports.

In particular, Muscovites are invited to the open areas of military equipment, where about 400 exhibits of equipment from the Second World War are presented. Among them are tanks, aircraft, boats, submarines, and other samples. It is noted that visitors will also be shown captured equipment, including a collection of Japanese weapons. It is specified that the exhibits were discovered during search expeditions to the islands of the Kuril ridge Shumshu and Paramushir. Specialists carried out restoration work and handed it over to the museum.
