The online platform ChessKing will host a remote chess tournament for schoolchildren and their parents, who should first submit an application for participation, the Moscow Mayor official website reports.
The tournament will help students diversify their leisure time during the quarantine. The matches will be watched by real professionals, namely the master of sports in chess Sergey Abramov and the candidate for master of sports Alexander Zhuravlev.
To take part in the tournament, the registration on the online platform is required until March 27. The contest will be held on March 28. The participants must go to the site under their personal login by 3.50 pm.
