Schoolgirl from Moscow Region Took Gold at International Physics Olympiad

A student of the Physics and Technology Lyceum from the Moscow Region received the gold medal of the European Olympiad in Physics, reports Radio1. The eleventh-grader, Alisa Bugrova, had to compete online with students from more than 50 countries of the world for six days. 

The European Physics Olympiad has been held since 2017. It is specified that each country in the competition may be represented by a team of no more than five schoolchildren under 20 years old and one leader. According to the Minister of Education of the Moscow Region, Irina Kaklyugina, Alisa has been studying at the Physics and Technology Lyceum since the 5th grade, so now it is very important to see her academic progress. The minister wished the girl the highest achievements in her future university life.
