Russian President, Vladimir Putin, announced that the second line of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline will be filled with gas in the second half of December 2021.
“By the end of this year, in the middle – at the end of December, the technological work on filling the second Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline will be completed,” the President stated at a meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club.
The head of the state also spoke about the environmental friendliness of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline and highlighted once more that Russia has nothing to do with the gas prices spikes in Europe, as the country fulfils all its agreements and try to be helpful and supportive to partners as much as possible.
