Children born in mixed marriages (including one Russian parent) should automatically receive Russian citizenship, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The Minister replied that this should happen in accordance with the constitution, regardless of where the family lives, on the territory of Russia or in another state. Moreover, he said that Russia is interested in establishing its own educational institutions in all allied countries.
“Five Russian schools are being created with a full training programme according to our methodology in Tajikistan. Now a similar programme is being prepared for Uzbekistan. Recently, the new Armenian leadership has shown interest in making the same programme for Armenia,” Lavrov said.
According to the Minister, Moscow is interested in making this a model project for all allies and strategic partners in future.
