The semi-final “Transsib” of the All-Russian professional competition “Masters of Hospitality” was held on October 7. On that day, 64 authors of tourism development ideas from 25 regions of Russia proved to the jury why their projects should be supported, VN.ru reports.
The project is designed to unleash the potential of professionals, form new traditions in the field of tourism, and raise service standards. Thanks to the competition, industry leaders drew attention to the most remote corners of Russia, and the participants themselves got opportunities for the development of their projects.
The projects that take part in the competition can increase the investment attractiveness of the regions, as the more people want to go to see different parts of the country, the more there will be demand, offers, new infrastructure, startups, and services.
It is specified that 200 specialists have already reached the final, 50 of whom will take part in the mentoring programme. They will be mentored by eminent restaurateurs, hoteliers, and managers. And the 25 best authors of ideas will receive a certificate to study at the Moscow School of Management “Skolkovo”.
