In August 2020, for the first time in history, monthly passenger traffic exceeded 1 million passengers, the daily traffic reached a record 44 thousand people, and the number of accepted and dispatched flights reached 250 per day.
In total, 16 airlines made flights to 57 destinations last year at Simferopol airport. It is noted that for the first time in the history of the airport, a direct flight to Vladivostok was launched, and after a pause of several years, flights to Irkutsk, Khabarovsk, and Pskov were resumed.
It is noted that Ural Airlines became the leader in the number of passengers carried (over 1 million people). In total, over the past year, Simferopol Airport received and dispatched 32,062 regular passenger flights.
