A large artificial ice rink dedicated to space will be opened in Gorky Park on November 22.
The skating rink was named after the Soviet space ship, and they plan to make the design in the style of the avant-garde. The pavilions of the rink will be decorated in the colours of dawn – red, blue, pink. On the walls of the rooms will depict satellites and planets. The same images will be shown on the big screen, which will be installed at the arch of the main entrance.
In the pavilion with an area of 2 thousand square meters, there will be a rental point and a cafe. It is planned to build a media tube on the territory of the park, where they will conduct lectures, presentations, and artists will also perform live.
An artificial ice rink with an area of 20 thousand square meters can accommodate 6 thousand people at the same time. Muscovites and guests of the capital will be able to skate on all days of the week, except Mondays.

At the opening of the rink, the musical groups “Davinci” and “Degrees” will perform. In the evening, there will be held a firework show.
According to the official website of the Moscow Mayor, the skating rink will run until March 9, 2020.
