Snow Depth in Moscow Broke Record

The snow depth in Moscow reached the current winter maximum, that is 11 centimetres, reports Interfax with the reference to the Moscow weather bureau. 

The previous maximum snow cover in Moscow was indicated on January 29, that was 8 centimetres. It is noted that over the last days in Moscow, about five millimetres of precipitation passed.

The maximum air temperature in Moscow, on January 31 is from -1 to +1 degree. The wind blows southwest at a speed of five to ten meters per second. Atmospheric pressure in the middle of the day is 737 millimetres. Forecasters also warn that high humidity can affect well-being during the day.
