A 22-year-old son of the abbot of the Holy Trinity Church in the Udmurt village of Alnashi, Mikhail Ivanov, studied piano at a music school and now teaches others bell ringing.
When all the villagers left the village and there was no one to ring the bell the guy studied the instructions of the bell ringing and helped the church to sound, the Mash Telegram channel reports. Now people learn from Mikhail how to ring the bell and he conducts lessons online. The young man wants to destroy stereotypes about Orthodoxy, showing by his example that the church can also get into trends.
