Spain resumes issuing Schengen visas in Moscow from May 12, 2021, RadioSputnik reports with reference to the data provided by the Spanish Consulate General.
“Those wishing to apply for a Schengen visa should contact the Spanish Visa Application Centre by appointment,” the statement said.
It is specified that entry into Spain, as well as other countries of the EU and the Schengen area, is still limited due to the measures introduced against the backdrop of the pandemic. Nevertheless, visas will be issued to Russians starting from June 1, 2021. The application can be submitted by those citizens who already have a visa valid for less than one year, but the priority will be given to the owners of the previous two-, three- and five-year visas, as well as relatives of EU citizens.
